Mr. Dondero is Co-founder and President of Highland Capital Management, L.P. Mr. Dondero has over 30 years of experience in the credit markets. Prior to founding Highland in 1993, Jim served as chief investment officer of Protective Life’s GIC subsidiary and helped grow the business from concept to over $2 billion between 1989 and 1993. His portfolio management experience includes mortgage-backed securities, investment grade corporates, leveraged bank loans, high-yield bonds, emerging market debt, derivatives, preferred stocks and common stocks. From 1985 to 1989, he managed approximately $1 billion in fixed income funds for American Express. Prior to American Express, he completed the financial training program at JP Morgan. Jim received a BS in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Virginia. Jim is a Certified Managerial Accountant and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He currently serves as Chairman for Cornerstone Healthcare Group, CCS Medical and NexBank and serves on the Board of Directors of American Banknote Corporation, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Mr. Boyce is a retired Partner of Highland Capital Management, L.P. During his career at Highland, Mr. Boyce served in multiple firm-wide operating and investing roles including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Private Equity. Prior to joining Highland, Mr. Boyce worked in the Investment Banking departments of Solomon Smith Barney and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette focused on portfolio companies of financial sponsors. He has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Baylor University where he was a Teagle Scholar and on the NCAA golf team. In addition, Mr. Boyce has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Mr. Boyce previously served on the Board of Directors of American HomePatient (as Chairman), Consolidated Restaurants, CCS Medical and as an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Brain Health at The University of Texas at Dallas.
Mr. Fulgham is a senior financial executive and CPA (inactive) with over 30 years of accounting and management experience across a broad range of industries and situations as an auditor, board member, operating management and advisor. Mr. Fulgham is chairman of the audit committee and also sits on the compliance committee of Cornerstone. Mr. Fulgham received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University. Mr. Fulgham also sits on the Board of Directors of American Home Patient, Trussway Holdings and 3P Processing.
Mr. Jameson is a Principal in the Private Equity group at Highland Capital Management L.P. Mr. Jameson has over thirteen years of private equity investing, operations, and consulting experience. Prior to joining Highland, Mr. Jameson held consulting and private equity roles with Southlake Equity Group, E. Oppenheimer & Son, Ewing Management Group (previously Carlyle Management Group), Thompson Street Capital Partners, KPMG and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Jameson earned a BS in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. In addition, he has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Jameson currently serves on the Board of Directors of American HomePatient (as Chairman).
Mr. Jakubcanin brings over 15 years of healthcare executive leadership experience in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health care, personal care services, hospice, and medical home care. Mr. Jakubcanin joins Cornerstone from AccentCare where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to AccentCare, he served as Senior Vice President of Kindred Healthcare’s Central Region. Overall, he served 13 years at Kindred Healthcare with increasing levels of responsibility. Mr. Jakubcanin is a trained Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from Wayne State University.
