Cornerstone Hospital of Austin is a licensed acute care hospital
with JCAHO accreditation – containing a total of 64 licensed
beds including a new state-of-the-art ICU. The hospital is designed as a bridge in the continuum
of care and is intended to facilitate the achievement of individualized,
functional goals for medically complex patients. This business philosophy
guides the medical programs providing services for pulmonary, wound
care management, medically complex patients and medical with rehabilitation.
The programs are designed to compliment the continuum of care provided
by traditional hospitals, skilled nursing units, home health and
rehabilitation hospitals. Cornerstone Hospital of Austin prides
itself on providing personalized care to its patients and their
families. We provide ICU services that are augmented with rehabilitation
concepts.
Cornerstone Hospital is an approved provider with a wide variety
of HMO and PPO managed care plans. We negotiate and establish rates
on a case-by-case basis for non-contracted providers.
