Mr. Jakubcanin brings over 15 years of healthcare executive leadership experience in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health care, personal care services, hospice, and medical home care. Mr. Jakubcanin joins Cornerstone from AccentCare where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to AccentCare, he served as Senior Vice President of Kindred Healthcare’s Central Region. Overall, he served 13 years at Kindred Healthcare with increasing levels of responsibility. Mr. Jakubcanin is a trained Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from Wayne State University.

Mr. Schultz has over 20 years’ of executive healthcare financial leadership experience in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, behavioral health and acute care. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. Schultz served in Division and Regional CFO roles with Psychiatric Solutions/Universal Health Services. Prior to this, he held executive positions, including the Vice President of Finance (Midwest Region), with Kindred Healthcare. Mr. Schultz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from St. Xavier University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ms. Davis is a dynamic healthcare leader with over seventeen years of specialized experience in Case Management. As Vice President of Case Management, Ms. Davis will have complete oversight of the day to day operations of the Case Management programs for a portfolio of hospitals. Ms. Feasel has over 25 years of healthcare experience in long-term acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as home health. Ms. Feasel held several senior and executive level positions within her 25 years with her most recent executive leadership role at Kindred Healthcare as a Vice President of their LTAC Hospital Division. Overall, she served Kindred Healthcare for 20 years with increasing levels of responsibility from Director of Rehabilitation to Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer as well as Market CEO for the Hospital Division and Vice President of their Rehab Division. Ms. Feasel holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from St. Leo University in Florida.

Keith brings over 30 years of leadership experience managing hospitals and treatment centers across the United States. His leadership experience includes capabilities in both adult and adolescent treatment settings including residential and inpatient hospitalization. He most recently served as the CEO for Rock Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Georgetown, Texas which included three separate behavioral health treatment centers. Keith also held executive leadership roles with Tenet and Acadia Healthcare. While serving as CEO at Abilene Behavioral Health hospital in 2009, his facility was named as Acadia Healthcare’s Facility of the Year award. His passion for behavioral health was enabled some years ago when he served as a Correctional Officer, Counselor and Dormitory Manager of an Adult Alcohol and Substance Abuse Unit, operated by the State of New York. Keith holds both an M.A. degree in Educational Psychology and a B.S. degree in Sociology from State University of New York.

Ms. Lewis brings over 20 years of experience to her executive clinical leadership role with Cornerstone. Ms. Lewis’ professional experience includes executive leadership roles in short – and long-term acute care, as well as rehabilitation hospitals. Prior to joining Cornerstone, she served as the Vice President of Clinical and Quality Services for Acuity Healthcare and had previously served as a Regional Chief Nursing Officer for HealthSouth. Ms. Lewis is a Registered Nurse with a Master of Nursing Administration and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mid-Western State University. She is a Board Certified Nurse Executive and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.

Mr. McDonough brings over 20 years’ experience in the practice of healthcare law and regulations. Prior to joining Cornerstone, his experience included legal roles supporting a range of healthcare providers, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, home health and hospice. Mr. McDonough is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. He received his J.D. from The University of Tulsa and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.​

His career included over 12 years in the West Virginia Air National Guard as both an Enlisted Airman and an Officer. After working for Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance, he joined Regency Hospital Company and served as Chief Executive Officer in Mississippi and Georgia hospitals. He transitioned his career to LifeCare Management Services and oversaw hospital operations in Nevada, Idaho and Colorado. Mr. O’Sullivan earned a doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master of Healthcare Management from Marshall University and an undergraduate degree from Concord College.

Leslie Vajner joined Cornerstone in February of 2017 as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Leslie brings more than 20 years of health care experience as a clinician, consultant, and executive leader with a passion for business development, relationship management, innovation, patient safety, and quality of care. Prior to joining Cornerstone, she functioned as the Administrative Director, Center for Connected Care overseeing The Cleveland Clinic’s post-acute assets and strategy including home care, hospice, and physician practice management,. This work helped to support several CMS, Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation initiatives including bundled payments, ACO and Independence at Home. At Kindred, she served in various clinical operations and business development leadership roles including as Sr. Director of Care Management and Clinical Integration, Chief Clinical Officer and District Director of Clinical Integration and Business Development. Leslie began her healthcare career as a registered nurse specializing in Critical Care, Catheterization Lab, Telemetry and Emergency Care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University and her Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University. She has written and presented various healthcare guides and publications related to Post-Acute and Long-term Care.

In addition to his role at Cornerstone, Mr. Walker serves as Managing Director with the Healthcare Private Equity group at Highland Capital Management. Mr. Walker brings 25 years of experience in strategy and operational roles across a variety of industries and functions. Prior to joining Cornerstone and Highland, Mr. Walker served as a Sr. Vice President at HealthMarkets (now part of UnitedHealthcare), where he focused on strategic partnerships, product development, sales force infrastructure, and strategy. Previously, Mr. Walker worked as a Vice President of Customer Management Operations at Capital One, where he held various operational and internal consulting roles, and as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Walker holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSEE from Southern Methodist University.

Tim Cournoyer

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Mr. Cournoyer is a Managing Director and Assistant General Counsel at Highland Capital Management, L.P. where he focuses on the firm’s private equity investments. Prior to joining Highland in 2016, Mr. Cournoyer was a mergers and acquisitions attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York and Thompson & Knight LLP in Dallas. Mr. Cournoyer’s practice focused on advising private equity clients in all aspects of their portfolio company investments, from acquisition through exit. In addition, Mr. Cournoyer previously served as in-house counsel for Apollo Capital Management, L.P. Mr. Cournoyer received a B.A. in Economics from Emory University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cornerstone Healthcare Group and is a member of the Board of Directors of Trussway and Carey International.

Cameron Baynard

Mr. Baynard is a Managing Director at Highland Capital Management, L.P. where he focuses on the firm’s private equity investments. Prior to his current role, Mr. Baynard oversaw Highland’s performing and distressed credit investments across a variety of industries, with a focus on the retail, auto, and transportation sectors. Before joining Highland in February 2014, Mr. Baynard was a Senior Associate with Rockland Capital, LLC, where he was involved in all aspects of the origination, structuring, execution, and management of private equity investments. Prior to Rockland Capital, Mr. Baynard was an investment banking analyst with Wells Fargo Securities. He received a B.B.A. in Finance, a B.S. in Economics, and a B.A. in Public Policy from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Baynard is a member of the Board of Directors of Cornerstone Healthcare Group, CCS Medical Holdings, JHT Holdings, and Trussway. He also previously served on the Boards of OmniMax Holdings and Structural & Steel Products.

Sean Fox

Mr. Fox is a Director at Highland Capital Management, L.P. where he focuses on the firm’s private equity investments. Previously, he was a Senior Manager of Finance where he had responsibilities over cash flow forecasting, modeling, and valuation. Mr. Fox joined Highland in 2013 as a Senior Valuation Analyst, supporting the marking of investment instruments throughout the firm. Prior to joining Highland, Mr. Fox was employed by GearingStone, a special servicer of commercial real estate assets, and Stone Advisors, a buyout and turnaround firm. He was responsible for underwriting and managing distressed debt, investor reporting, and managing the receivership business. Mr. Fox has a BS from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of CCS Medical Holdings, Inc., and Cornerstone Healthcare Group. Mr. Fox also previously served on the board of Structural and Steel Products Inc.

Reece Fulgham

Mr. Fulgham is a senior financial executive and CPA (inactive) with over 30 years of accounting and management experience across a broad range of industries and situations as an auditor, board member, operating management, and advisor. Mr. Fulgham is chairman of the audit committee and also sits on the compliance committee of Cornerstone. Mr. Fulgham received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University. Mr. Fulgham also sits on the Board of Directors of American Home Patient, Trussway Holdings, and 3P Processing.
