After testing positive for COVID19, Mr. Colbart began experiencing severe side effects, including respiratory failure.
When he transitioned to Cornerstone, Mr. Colbart was on a tracheostomy tube and couldn’t sit on the edge of the bed. Although his recovery was challenging, Mr. Colbart remained determined to work with our respiratory and rehabilitation team on his treatment plan goals.
Thanks to his resolve and the commitment of our team, Mr. Colbart achieved his goals! He was weaned from the tracheostomy tube and able to walk over 200 feet with a rolling walker. Mr. Colbart was discharged home to his family! We’re so honored to care for Mr. Colbart!
