While riding his motorcycle, Mr. Murray was in a severe car accident. He was airlifted to OU Health Medical Center and diagnosed with multiple traumatic brain injuries and broken bones. After 11 days at OU Health, Mr. Murray transitioned to Cornerstone to receive continued care.
When he arrived, Mr. Murray needed a tracheostomy tube to help him breathe and couldn’t move without assistance. With the support of his wife and our Shawnee team, Mr. Murray diligently followed his intensive treatment plan.
While in our care, Mr. Murray regained the ability to breathe independently and began to walk with a rolling walker! He was discharged home with home health services, coordinated by our case management team. We’re so thankful to be a part of Mr. Murray’s recovery!
