Ms. Hutch

After testing positive for COVID19 and pneumonia, Ms. Hutch was transferred to Cornerstone to receive specialized care.
When she arrived at our Round Rock hospital, Ms. Hutch struggled to move the left side of her body and sit on the edge of the bed. She needed a tracheostomy tube to help her breathe. Despite these challenges, Ms. Hutch remained resilient. She dedicated herself to her treatment plan and her intensive rehabilitation sessions.
Thanks to her determination and the hard work of our team members, Ms. Hutch was able to breathe on her own again! She regained her ability to stand and began to take steps! She was discharged to Resolute Rehabilitation, an inpatient rehabilitation unit, to build on the progress she made at Cornerstone. Congrats, Ms. Hutch!
