Ms. McDaniel transitioned to Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals to receive continued care for COVID19. When she arrived, Ms. McDaniel was on a ventilator and couldn’t move without assistance. Our team developed an individualized treatment plan to address these challenges and help Ms. McDaniel regain her independence.
After two weeks of hard work and dedication, Ms. McDaniel was weaned from the ventilator and could walk over 300 feet with a rolling walker! Before leaving our hospital, Ms. McDaniel shared how excited she was to return home to her family!
